HOW TO CREATE YOUR AI ASSISTANT

A step-by-step walkthrough of the Factory dashboard — follow it top to bottom, in the same order the form appears, and you'll have a live AI Assistant by the end.

The Dashboard, Step By Step

Seven steps to a published AI Assistant

Every field below maps directly to a box on the Factory dashboard — follow along in order and watch the Live Preview update as you go.

1
Subdomain

Choose your web address · ~5 seconds

Start by picking a subdomain — this is your temporary assistant's address, e.g. abc.quantheo.app. Use only lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens.

Click Check to confirm it's available before moving on. If it's taken, try a variation (add your city, a short suffix, etc.).

Your yoursubdomain.quantheo.app address is a temporary subdomain used during your 7-day free trial. Once your subscription is confirmed, you'll receive your own dedicated .app domain.
2
Company-App Name

Name, logo, welcome message & business knowledge · ~1–2 minutes

Company Name will appear in your browser bar only. This is best practice for search engines — keep it short and on-brand.

Logo URL — we do not host files. Use your free Cloudinary account (or any image host) and paste the direct image link below so your assistant carries your visual identity.

The Welcome Message is the AI’s first message shown at the start of a new conversation, greeting the user and setting the tone.

Business Info is the most important part! It is your AI knowledge on your activities and business. Add as much info as you can here — hours, menu or product list, pricing, policies, FAQs — up to 50,000 characters. The more detail you provide, the more accurate and useful your assistant's answers will be.

Use the AI Behavior box (system prompt — tone, rules, how it should talk) to control style and rules — for example, "Always speak as we", "Reply in the user's language", or "Keep answers to 3–5 short sentences." (optional, ready to use as-is)

3
4-Digit Protection

Decide who can access the assistant · ~5 seconds

Set a VIP Passcode if you want to gate access to your assistant — useful for private previews, hotel guests, or members-only experiences.

Leave it as 0000 to skip the gate entirely and let anyone use your AI Assistant directly — the most common choice for public-facing assistants.

4
Suggested Questions

Give visitors a quick way to start chatting · ~2 minutes

Add a handful of quick-tap prompts shown to visitors in the top-right Q&A menu of the chat window. These are the questions customers are most likely to ask — think "What are your hours?" or "Do you deliver?" — and they let people start a conversation with a single tap instead of typing.

Click + Add Suggestion to add as many as you like; you can always edit or remove them later.

5
Background Slideshow

Set the mood with imagery · ~2 minutes

Paste up to 5 image URL links that crossfade gently behind the chat window. We recommend using the direct image link from your website: Right-click on the image, select: open image in a new tab, copy the url link address.

6
Colors — Dark & Light Themes

Match your brand palette · ~5 minutes (optional, ready to use as-is)

Palette for both themes — visitors can switch from the chat header. Customize every color in the Dark Theme and Light Theme — Background, Surface, Surface Hover, Text, Text Dim, User Bubble BG/Text, AI Bubble BG/Text, Link, Icon, Success, Error, Mic Recording, Header BG, Border, Input BG, Chip BG, Gate BG, Accent, Send Button BG/Text, and more.

Use the color-picker swatches for a visual pick, or type in exact hex codes if you already have brand colors defined. Watch the Live Preview panel on the right update in real time as you adjust each value.

7
Publish

Go live · ~10–20 seconds

Once everything looks right in the Live Preview, click Create Clone. This deploys the AI Assistant, — it typically takes 10–20 seconds.

Need to make a change later? Find your clone in the Existing Clones list, click Edit, adjust any field, and click Update Clone. Changes go live immediately.
Once you publish, DNS can take a few minutes to propagate. If the link doesn't load immediately, wait and retry.
Once you receive your own dedicated .app domain, head to our QR Code Generator to create a QR code pointing to your own address — perfect for print, menus, or signage.
